Jonat Deelstra
Jonat Deelstra (1991) has been living and working in Amsterdam. In 2018, Jonat obtained his Bachelor in Illustration from the HKU. Since then, he has mainly worked as a painter, but he also likes to reach for new materials. Thus, he builds installations, makes drawings, woodcuts, ceramic work and animations. Jonat Deelstra's paintings have magical realistic features. his paintings are alienating as if something ominous is about to happen. Jonat finds his inspiration in other cultures and religions: ''I need the supernatural. I need to know the mystery of human existence.'' He can be seen in several private and corporate collections.

Matt Chaim de Groot
Matt Chaim de Groot (1969) was born in Amsterdam and grew up in Israel where conflicts and contradictions in the broadest sense of the word exist. Conflicts on a physical and mental level are the source of inspiration for his images. From 1996 - 2000 Matt studied at the Fotoacademie Amsterdam. Later from 2000 to 2004 he studied Fine Art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. Soon after his studies Matt started teaching and coaching young artists, at the Fotoacademie, in their postgraduate quest as he developed his artistic practice: ''I'm looking for the bridge between the photography of the last century and the photography of the future. As an artist I not only create, but also try to inspire others''. Artist Matt Chaim de Groot grew up in Israel. At the age of eighteen he served his military service. Via road 98 he travelled to the front line, the border between Syria and the Golan Heights. Since 1973 this border has had a ceasefire on paper, but reality seems to be different. For Matt this place has several meanings. It is a place where he is at home and a place full of conflict.

Merel Jansen
Merel Jansen paints colorful portraits of people. She has completed no less than three studies: ArtEZ Product Design,(2008-2010), ArtEZ/AKI Fine Art Painting (2010 - 2013) and LUCA School of Arts Textile Design (2013 - 2016). Merel is not only limited to traditional oil paintings but can also express herself by painting and embroidering on textiles. These canvases were previously on display at NAIRAC in Barneveld. She paints her models with all their imperfections. Think of an oiled-up bathing guest with a can of beer in his hand, or a reclining woman with her larders meticulously worked out. Because that, too, is beauty. Sometimes Merel's works tend towards abstraction. For example, when she allows a hand of the person being portrayed to flow into the background. In her paintings Merel succeeds in elevating the everyday to something sacred. An 'ordinary' adolescent girl on the beach is elevated to a true Maria. Her version of the Mystic Lamb will be exhibited in Museum Arnhem in 2023.

Ulrike Rehm
Ulrike Rehm was born in Germany in Halle. In 2006, she graduated from the Rietveld Academy and received her BA in Fine Arts. In 2011, she graduated for her MA at the Sandberg Institute. Rehm's greatest sources of inspiration are folkloric narratives, traditions, archetypal figures and their inherent symbolism and associations. Curiosity and experimentation drive Rehm's artistic development and inform her versatile use of materials. Rehm can be found in various private, museum and corporate collections. Such as, Akzo Nobel Art Foundation (Amsterdam), Louis Vuitton (Asia) and Museum Arnhem.

Dion Rosina
Dion Rosina (1991) makes oil paintings based on images he collects and manipulates and from which he makes collages. By drawing existing images and carefully sampling them, Rosina makes his work into a harmonious ensemble. For instance, in his work he refers to works by Albrecht Dürer and Emory Douglas. Rosina is inspired by various subjects such as spirituality, alienation and history. His work balances between figuration and abstraction.
After graduating from the Breitner Academy in 2021 (2016-2021), Rosina got off to a flying start. He was nominated for the Graduation Prize 2021, exhibited at the Rembrandt House in the exhibition 'Here. Black in Rembrandt's time' and was represented by the Black Archives at Documenta 15. Shortly afterwards, Rosina was nominated for The Royal Award for Modern Painting 2022. His work can be seen in several museums, for example in the group exhibition 'More en meer' at Museum More in Gorssel and this year in a solo exhibition at Kunsthal Light in Rotterdam.

Joran van Soest
In his work Joran van Soest (1994) explores the human drive for connection and how we can nurture our relationships, regardless of distance. Joran: ''Our relationships, how we are to each other, are subject to our individual imagination. The further away someone or something is, the easier it is to hold on to a beautiful memory.'' This fragmentary feeling van Soest tries to convey by using intense colours and pitch black in one work and other work consisting of a few light lines, making it look almost like a sketch.
Joran uses different media such as video, painting, photography, printing and drawing techniques to create installations and collages. His artworks are impressive and intense, inviting reflection on how we experience and can understand relationships with others. Joran van Soest graduated from the AKV St. Joost art academy in Den Bosch two years ago. He exhibited at Art Rotterdam 2022. And was featured in several museum exhibitions. Most recently at the NoordBrabants Museum and the Gorcums Museum. In 2023, he stayed at the EKWC in Oisterwijk.

Sophie Steengracht
During her childhood Sophie Steengracht (1991) was surrounded by animals and nature. Transformations and the symbolic relationships between man and nature are a common thread in her work. She is inspired by the processes in nature. In 2021 Steengracht laid out a biodynamic garden in which she grows and studies plants, draws and photographs them. She also uses pigment from her garden. Sophie: "I use the plants - all of their parts - in artworks in which an animistic perspective is important. In the drawings I depict landscapes in which the plants, stones, water and planets have a soul. I long for a general perception, in which man is a link in processes of nature, rather than ruler of his environment."
The work of Sophie Steengracht can be found in serveral private and corporate collections. In 2018 Sophie won a grant of the van Vlissingen Art Foundation. Her work was afterwards exhibited in the Singer Laren Museum. On Art Rotterdam 2022 her work was exhibited in Prospects and Concepts. Jan Steenman
Jan Steenman (1995), currently residing in Geneva, is a multidisciplinary artist who creates performances, paintings, and sculptures. Steenman completed his studies at KABK in The Hague in 2018 and obtained his MA from Haute école d'art et de design in Geneva in 2022. His sculptural work is inspired by micro-anatomy and incorporates cellular structures to form surrealistic creatures. Examples include two-headed entities or meter-long DNA strands gracefully floating above the ground.

Peter Zegveld
Peter Zegveld's (1951) work consist of clear images in which universal themes are expressed in calligraphy and dynamic objects. Zegveld shows a world that becomes accessible and insightful through its simple form. In his work he shows new angles in relation to prevailing traditions. He expresses himself in various media: he paints, makes spatial work, develops sound machines, uses them to make music and gives performances in theaters and at festivals. Zegveld's work is regularly exhibited in the major museums in the Netherlands, including Rijksmuseum Twenthe and Museum Boijmans van Beuningen.
Zegveld is a visual artist and performer. Mulan Go can also be approached for his installations, performances and art projects on location.

Gijs Assmann (guest artists)
Gijs Assmann makes drawings, collages, sculptures and spatial installations in which the artist shows his connection with human emotions and the facts of life: penetrating, disarming, confrontational, personal and sincere.
Assmann has made many sculptures in public spaces and has exhibited in the Netherlands and abroad, in recent years in solo exhibitions at Schloss Ahaus (Germany), the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam and the Jan Cunen Museum in Oss, and recently in a group presentation at the Gemeente Museum in The Hague.

Susanne Khalil Yusef (guest artist)
Susanne Khalil Yusef (1984) makes work about her Palestinian background. In this way she hopes to provide insight into the situation of Palestinians around the world. In her works of art, she incorporates stories and events that she herself or those close to her have experienced. Khalil Yusef makes colourful installations such as murals, paintings, textiles, ceramics, video, performances, bronze sculptures and self-created archives. At first glance, Khalil Yusef's brightly coloured work seems light-hearted and playful, but if you look closely, you will see references to displacement, identity and socio-geographic power relationships.

Rinke Nijbug (guest artist)
In his work, Rinke Nijburg addresses the question of what it means exactly to be a human being who relates to animal instinct on the one hand and the divine and the cosmic on the other. Religion is therefore an important source of inspiration for his paintings, drawings, mixed media and installations; in his work, Nijburg connects cultural expressions and heritage in the broadest sense, religion, mythology, philosophy, comics, film, fairytales and current social events, into a fascinating private cosmology. Although a Protestant by birth, Nijburg finds plenty of inspiration in the iconography and image-rich traditions of Catholicism, as well as in Eastern religious thought such as Buddhism and Hinduism in recent years.
